Celestial Court at Sheraton Imperial Hotel welcomes the Lunar New Year with a total of four 9 course set menus. Each named Abundance, Fortune, Auspicious and Luxurious, all four set menus consists of differing styles of Yee Sang depending on the set menu, while the Luxurious – 9 course set menu will include braised abalone with fish maw and Japanese mushroom in dried scallop sauce.
Koi Fish Chinese New Year cakes (nian gao) are also available for order as a treat to yourself and for your loved ones.

2. Dynasty Restaurant
Bring the whole family together at Dynasty Restaurant at the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur for a big bowl of poon choy this Chinese New Year. Other than poon choy, Dynasty Restaurant will also be offering festive dim sum selections as well as waxed meat rice.
Customers will also be spoilt of choices when it comes to the Yee Sang, as there are a total of six varieties to choose from: salmon, Fruity Fiesta, jellyfish, lobster and salmon, Five Treasures, as well as mini abalone with salmon.
Set menus will also be available, all prepared by Executive Sous Chef Kok Chee Kin and his team this 11TH January to 11th February 2017, with each set capturing the finest flavours of Cantonese cuisines.

Chynna at Hilton Kuala Lumpur offers customers a pork free alternative to usher in the Lunar New Year.
For the adventurous, one can try the New Year of Rooster Lao Sang, which consists of fruits like strawberries, dragon fruit, jackfruit, pear and sweet and sour chicken. It is definitely a dish worth trying with family and friends on such an auspicious evening. Chynna also offers 4 other different Yee Sang choices to choose from.

4. Lai Po Heen
Ring in the year of the Rooster with Lai Po Heen at Mandarin Oriental as they introduce a variety of Chinese New Year Specialties such as the braised money bag filled with sea treasures and wok fried garden greens and slow cooked 6 head whole Australian abalone with sea cucumber and Matsutake mushroom among others.
Lai Po Heen will also have luxurious set menus, as well as dimsum sets. There will also be a total of five styles of Yee Sang up for selection, from yee sang with Australian lobster in kumquat dressing to yee sang with assorted vegetables and shredded fruits in sesame dressing.
Various Chinese New Year goodies will also be available for purchase, such as macarons and mandarin Koi fish chocolates among many others. Chinese New Year gift sets are also available for those looking to show their appreciation to family and friends.

5.Xin Cuisine
Xin Cuisine is back at it with the Chinese New Year festivities. This year’s specialties includes Prosperity Yee Sang and a selection of waxed meats. Besides the Chinese New Year set menus, customers can also enjoy sweet treats in three variations – deep fried pineapple and crystal osmanthus flower jelly nian gao, which is also available chilled.

6. Tao
For the superstitious, come celebrate your Lunar New Year at Tao. Tao means peach blossoms, which symbolises prosperity, growth, longevity and love. That being said, where else can you hope for a better start to the Lunar New Year?
This Lunar New Year, InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s signature Chinese restaurant have prepared a variety of set menus, all come up by award-winning executive Chinese chef Wong Lian You.
There are a total of 5 varieties of Yee Sang to choose from, where additional supplements such as abalone and bird’s nest also available upon order. There are a total of 4 set menus to choose from: Abundance, Prosperity, Fortune and Opulence. The Abundance set is only available for lunch.

7. Shang Palace
Shang Palace in Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur rolls in the Lunar New Year with various Chinese New Year specialties and prosperity set menus. There will be a total of five prosperity set menus, with each menu beginning with Yee Sang and ending with a combination of Steamed Traditional Ninko with shredded coconut and chilled red bean cake.
Three types of Ninko are also available for either dine-in or takeaway from 2nd to the 26th January: fish shaped prosperity coconut Ninko, round two-layer Ninko in traditional and osmathus flavours and round traditional brown sugar Ninko with walnuts.
