When it comes to luxury, you can rest assured that Prestige has it covered. But with the sheer multitude, let alone variety, released regularly on the landscape, it can become rather difficult to figure out the best from the rest or to even pick up the newest and most exciting. As luck would have it, our editors are forever on the look out: discovering on-the-rise labels, picking up new products from cult brands and the finding the most desirable items there are. So for those that are curious what that might be, keep scrolling to discover what made the cut in our weekly Most Coveted list.
I honestly believe that there will be brighter days ahead. So, in line with this sentiment, I’m getting ready for sunshine with my Saint Laurent shades on. These Kate sunglasses created by the luxury French fashion house feature undeniably chic frames in a cat-eye shape which help to bring some shape, and hopefully some cheekbones, to my round face. Made in a cool black and glossy acetate with accents of silver, the sunglasses are the perfect accessory with UV protection lenses to keep your eyes from squinting even on the brightest days. — Fontaine Cheng (FC), Digital Editor
De Beers’ high jewellery collection ‘Portraits of Nature’ is now available for viewing (and shopping) at its Landmark flagship. I do warn you that the danger of falling in love with one of their animal-inspired pieces is a chance you are going to have to take. What caught my eye is the Greater Flamingo necklace – an exquisitely crafted piece in perfect symmetry made with exceedingly rare pink diamonds set in to create a gradient effect from white to brownish, orangey, fancy pink and finally leading to a marquise 3.01 carat pink centre stone. The design is an interpretation of the magnificent colours and patterns of flamingo feathers. — Dara Chau (DC), Senior Digital Editor
“For Spring/Summer 2020, I took my cue from Diana Spencer… Clearly, she was a style icon, but I loved her fearlessness, her intelligence and, most of all, her humanity. She left a legacy of giving back that embodies what I admire most,” says petite blonde American designer Tory Burch. “This collection brings together English garden florals, a restrained volume and my own take on the Eighties.” We love the illustrative prints on the light Kira or the darker quilted Fleming camera bags. — Jing Zhang (JZ), Editor at Large

If you have yet to discover Georgian designer Aleksandre Akhalkatsishvili, you’ll likely be captivated by his designs now. His collections are created for a timeless wardrobe and lean on clean and minimalist silhouettes, while striking a balance between structured tailoring and soft delicate elements. I am in love with this artfully ruched blouse in blushing peach which features a cutout shoulder juxtaposed with a long sleeve, giving just enough skin for summer and still suitable for the office. — FC
Oh, for the days when we all travelled freely and without concern. Once the current Covid-19 pandemic is brought under control, many of us will be planning our next holidays. I’m personally hoping for a proper adventure — hiking in Nepal or a journey in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Kazuki Kuraishi, long-time guest collaborator of The North Face Urban Exploration, continues with a unisex capsule for both urban and outdoors’ explorers alike, featuring a new colourway for the brand, “TNF Lemon.” — JZ
The wait is over. I’ve been eyeing this for some time now, and today, the Louis Vuitton Pont 9 has arrived in Hong Kong. The modern yet timeless new leather bag is the perfect cross-body companion to keep my hands free while out and about. The structured shape with rounded corners is the perfect minimalistic silhouette to go with the reinterpreted 1930s archived LV circle logo, which beautifully blends modernity and convenience with the historic heritage of the brand. The LV Pont 9 in Crème goes well with summer linen dresses and washed denim. — DC
