In this week’s online exclusive, we introduce three restaurants that are giving away dining vouchers through our 24 Culinary Days of Christmas competition.
We’ve got an early Christmas present for some lucky readers this December: dining vouchers! We at Prestige Towers have scoured high and low to get you free meals at some of the best restaurants in town – to win them, all you have to do is enter our Christmas competition. You can find the rules here: http://goo.gl/ytl4J4
To whet your appetite, here are introductions to three of the many restaurants that you could be dining at this December.
This upmarket teppanyaki restaurant only opened in mid-November and has been doing a roaring trade ever since. Although Fukuji offers an impressive range of seafood and an array of new and mouth-watering signature sauces to complement the teppanyaki experience, its biggest selling point is its imported Japanese beef. With both velvety Miyazaki beef and tender Kumamoto beef on the menu, Fukuji is a meat-lover’s heaven.
Located in the futuristic The Cubus building, this Causeway Bay hotspot is the brainchild of Hawaiian chef Bryan Nagao, who was previously head chef of the Felix restaurant in The Peninsula. Town’s eclectic menu includes flavours from Asia to Europe without offering any clichéd East-meets-West cuisine. If we had to pick just one dish on the menu, our favourite would have to be the lip-smackingly good Spanish prawn, scallop and shiso gremolata with house-made black ink udon.
As well as being the latest omakase bar to open in the city, Hanabi is also one of the most accomplished. But we wouldn’t expect any less from head chef Michael Chan, who was taught by renowned sushi chef Toshio Matsudo and has previously worked at Café Kool and Nobu InterContinental Hong Kong. There are two omakase options available: the Tsubomi menu and the Mankai menu. A Tsubomi meal for two is one of the prizes on offer in our 24 Culinary Days of Christmas competition, which includes a daily special appetizer, slices of creative and standard sashimi, soup, seasonal tempura and some standout rolls of sushi.
