We all know that Christmas is centred around presents, family and food. But does that mean you have to spend an entire day preparing, cooking and serving dinner — not at all. Thanks to our city that never sleeps, there are some fantastic festive menus to feast on, and we’ve compiled our list of the top ten tastiest dinners in town. So sit back and let someone else do the hard work for a change.
It’s a Joyeux Noël at Belon on Christmas Day. The newly awarded Michelin-star restaurant and their French-rooted yet locally inspired cuisine, created by Chef Daniel Calvert, changes daily for the freshest produce to be used. But if the sample menu is anything to go by, Christmas will definitely be delicious. Mainstays that are sure to feature on the menu include the whole roasted chicken with petits pois à la Française which will make you forget about turkey altogether, while the paper-thin Millefeuille layered with luscious cream will make everyone on the table nod and grin in unison.
