Daisy Ho

Daisy Ho joined Shun Tak Holdings in 1994 as executive director and was appointed chief financial officer in 1999, subsequently investing in various high-growth industry sectors in Hong Kong, Macau, Greater China and Southeast Asia. Ho’s business acumen stems partly from her further education in the US and Canada, where she earned a BSc in Business Administration, and an MBA respectively.

In 2018 she wasappointed chairman and executive director of SJM Holdings, and has served as chairman of the board of directors of SJM Resorts since 2019, carrying the company forward with the opening of the Grand Lisboa Palace integrated resort on Cotai, Macau. Entrenching SJM’s leadership in hospitality and entertainment, Ho is also injecting new vitality to the Lisboa brand with several new resorts and hotels, set to open in the near future.

Ho’s devotion to philanthropy is reflected in the words: “To whom much is given, much will be required,” and she’s closely involved in the rejuvenation of the century-old charity organisation, Po Leung Kuk, as well as the Hong Kong Ballet, which she’s determined remains the greatest corps de ballet in Asia. Ho’s personal motto? “Get out of your comfort zone, count your blessings when you’re stressed and stay positive.”
