The first woman to sell private jets in Asia, Diana Chou has helped shape the aviation industry for the past 23 years. She’s founded three operating companies – Jet 8, Aerochine and L’Voyage, and is a founding member and governor of the Asian Business Aviation Association.
In 2020, Chou sold her maintenance, repair and overhaul business – with the first and only 100-percent foreign-owned helicopter maintenance licence in China – to Textron and used the proceeds to embark on impact investment and philanthropy. Last year, Chou also found time to take on a mentoring role for young businesswomen by becoming a shareholder at Female Entrepreneur Worldwide. Her desire to give back is deep-seated – she’s been a Rotarian for more than 20 years, and donates to initiatives such as the the University of Washington’s educational programme and Salability Hong Kong.
Proficient in numerology, Chou finds it easy to diagnose a person’s character. She thinks no great success can be achieved without failure, and wants to dedicate her personal time to mentoring young female entrepreneurs so they can excel and scale new heights.
