Inspired by winter nights, Dior’s Golden Nights portrays a fantastic fairy tale that mixes tradition with a chic rock ‘n’ roll spirit.
Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, imagined magical shades of black and gold to celebrate sparkling and sophisticated femininity for the maison‘s Holiday 2020 Collection. “Golden Nights puts a twist on the holiday classics,” reveals Philips. “I thought of black and gold, of course, but also the graphic elements that evoke this festive season, as well as snowflakes, through a set of chic and festive crystals.”
From eyes to lips, here are the highlights of the collection;
The eyeshadow palette celebrates 5 Couleurs Couture Golden Nights with an infinitely poetic snowflake pattern. The Golden Snow palette plays with combinations of peach gold, white gold, copper-gold, and velvet brown around a purely yellow gold. Meanwhile, the black night cultivates the intensity of an ultra-shiny black around a deep burgundy red. Then there’s the Dior 24H Style that comes in two shades: satiny gold and sparkling black.
The house also releases the new version of its Rouge Dior Couture Collection Coffret inspired by the winter wonderland. It comes with a selection of five Rouge Dior lipsticks in highly desirable shades, known for creating the most beautiful smiles.
To create a thousand-sparkle smile, Diorific Golden Nights coated in glitter and engraved with snowflakes adds four pure shades with tone-on-tone shimmer. These include vibrant Shimmery Red, deep Glittery Rose rosewood, matte red-black Dark Sparkle, and luminous nude Dazzling Beige. In tune with the season, Dior Addict Lip Maximizer has joined the line to give instantly plump lips with a shimmery formula that comes in two new shade:; pure gold and a heavenly rose gold.
