A woman’s lips have always been a symbol of romance, femininity, and power and lipsticks have the ability to accentuate one’s beauty. The House of Dior has launched a new collection of lipsticks and lip care known as the Rouge Dior Ultra Care. More than just a lipstick, Rouge Dior is the soul of beauty that embraces the power of colour and creativity as dictated by Dior.
Dior also ventures into care territory and takes on strong inspiration in flowers. In the Little Dictionary of Fashion, 1954, Christian Dior wrote, “After woman, flowers are the most lovely thing God has given the world.” Christian Dior was constantly inspired by the floral gardens which was ever present in the Couturier’s life. This floral impetus blossoms at the very heart of the new lipsticks through its petal-soft shades and new care ingredients.
The Rouge Dior Ultra Care transforms care into colour and affirms its presence with an extra dose of moisturising care and lush variation of soft colours with a luminous matte pearly finish. The Rouge Dior Ultra Care line boasts a 12- hour long wear and glides smoothly on the lips. The heart of the stick is marked with the white “CD” logo and is also key for delivering lip care that’s infused with nourishing ingredients such as cameline oil and jojoba oil.

Inspired by the floral universe, the Rouge Dior Ultra Care comes in a range of three shades with a natural finish – 999 Bloom, a signature colour reinterpreted as spring bloom, 808 Caress, a modern and timeless rosewood and 707 Bliss, an orangey-red hue. “I wanted to reflect the caring dimension of this formula with a softer palette, ranging from raw shades to true reds.” says Peter Philips.
