A singer turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham announced that she would launch her beauty line later this year. “It’s about being very sustainable, since all the packaging is post-consumer and about keeping the quality high but being more democratic. So, we are pushing prices a little lower. I want something very focused. To make the sort of products that I need in my own life.”
Her beauty collection will be launched in London during Fashion Week in September, although the headquarters will be based in New York. The latest news revealed that the beauty line would also be managed by Co-Founder and CEO of Victoria Beckham Beauty, Sarah Creal, who overseen the designer’s project with Estée Lauder. Creal was previously Estée Lauder’s Lead on Global Partnership Initiatives. Victoria said that the beauty line would not be sold in the major department store, apart from the possibility of unique, exclusive boutiques. It will include all things beauty: skincare, make-up, fragrance, and wellness.
In 2016, Victoria Beckham collaborated with Estée Lauder and launched a capsule collection. It received positive responses from beauty critics and in a commercial level that led the launch of the second capsule collection with the beauty empire in 2017.
