Shiseido Group’s high-end prestige brand has announced Academy Award-nominated actress Felicity Jones as the new face of its luxury skincare and cosmetics! The spring/summer 2018 campaign was shot by renowned British photographer, David Sims, for over the course of two days in London. Meanwhile, the campaign video was directed by Alisha Goldstein

The appointment of Jones is a part of the brand’s relaunching strategy. Why was she chosen to be the new muse? I’m so proud of the Spring/Summer 2018 campaign and cannot wait to unveil it to the world.”

How do you feel about being the new face of Clé de Peau Beauté?
Felicity: I’m honoured to represent such a beautiful luxury brand that has personality and intelligence behind its story and products. It’s a beautiful synergy and partnership.
What are your favourite Clé de Peau Beauté products?
Felicity: My favourite products include La Crème, Firming Serum Supreme and Lipstick. Those are go-to products for me.
What is your beauty routine?
Felicity: It is relatively simple at the moment. I cleanse and moisturise every day.
Favourite beauty trick?
Felicity: Black eyeliner. To me, it is the epitome of cool.
How does the world of beauty inspire and empower you?
Felicity: It reminds me to take care of myself. In a hectic life, you have to take time to have baths, use face masks and treat yourself well. You always feel so much more refreshed afterwards.
How do you translate your beauty look into your fashion look?
Felicity: The hair, makeup and clothing work in symphony. I abide by ‘less is more’ so that I’m wearing the look instead of it wearing me.
What is your favourite exercise/ workout?
Felicity: My exercise routine changes depending on the character I’m playing, but I love running, swimming, yoga, Pilates, and dancing.
What is your favourite vacation destination?
Felicity: I love travelling in Europe, particularly Italy and France. I also adore Tokyo and New York.
What is your dream role?
Felicity: Depends on what comes along. I’d love to do something different from what I’ve done before. I love playing characters with wit.
How did it feel to be nominated for an Oscar?
Felicity: Awesome. It really was a tremendous experience.
If you weren’t an actress, what would you be doing?
Felicity: When I was younger, I had fantasies of being a journalist or writing novels.
What’s the best advice you have ever received?
Felicity: I remember, when I was growing up, my mother was a very strong and independent woman. She would always encourage my brother and I to express our personalities, to express who we are. She emphasised that it is what is inside that counts, and not what is on the outside, and I remember having a very strong sense of that.
