Chef Miyakawa and his elite culinary team of the acclaimed Sushi Shin in Japan will be taking up a guest residency at Kampachi. Presenting the same omakase menu offered at Sushi Shin, Kampachi’s 200-year-old Hinoki wood sushi counter seats only eight, so interested diners should make their reservations ASAP. For group bookings, there is a private dining area for 12 persons.
Local songstress Bihzhu is holding a special showcase in celebration of her new single “Nowness”. To be held at Taman Tugu Nursery, fans can expect an intimate, interesting evening of music and mingling. The showcase’s tagline “It takes a kampong” is a nod to those who have helped make the showcase possible, to which the singer wants to honour the strength of community and the power of human connection. The show starts at 6.30pm.

It’s not a party without drinks, and Beverage Manager, Joel John Timis, has created “spooky” cocktails for the occasion. Expect Halloween-themed snacks, costumes, and live DJ sets. The party takes place from 4pm to 10pm.
