For the sixth consecutive year, Piaget co-hosted the annual Film Independent Spirit Awards, which celebrates the actors, directors, producers and writers who create the best in independent film. This year the awards, hosted by Andy Samberg, were presented over luncheon in a tent on Santa Monica beach.
Silver Linings Playbook was a big winner, taking home Best Feature award, Best Female Lead for Jennifer Lawrence and Best Director and Best Screenplay for David O Russell. The Sessions, bagged a few statues, with Helen Hunt taking the Best Supporting Female award and John Hawkes Best Male Lead, while Matthew McConaughey received the Best Supporting Male nod for his role as a stripper in Magic Mike.
The star-studded event was attended by Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Helen Hunt, Zoe Saldana, Ellen Page, Jack Black, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Daniel Radcliffe, Bruce Willis, Chris Tucker and Salma Hayek, among many others.
