From screen legends like Marlene Dietrich to contemporary superstars like Natalie Portman, the maison has welcomed the world’s most famous faces into the family, as friends and ambassadors, to help shape the image they want to portray. Moving forward in 2021, the French fashion house is now welcoming Beatrice Borromeo Casiraghi, the most dashing European Royal, as the new Dior ambassador – the most yet vivid portrait of the legendary House of Dior.
Best renowned for the Monégasque royal – an endearing wife to Pierre Casiraghi of Monaco – whose passions are tied with fashion, journalism and TV production. However, this afresh appointed house’s true icon of elegance has much more to be mystified by. And here is a quick story containing 5 things you need to know about the new Dior Ambassador, Beatrice Borromeo Casiraghi.
She’s an Italian Aristocrat Marrying into the Monaco’s Royal Family
A daughter of an Italiand aristocratic family, Beatrice Borromeo, married Princess Caroline of Monaco’s youngest son who’s fourth in line to the Monégasque throne, Pierre Casiraghi in 2015 – after having been dating for a stark period of 7 years. The nuptial makes her the granddaughter-in-law of the late Hollywood icon Grace Kelly, or Princess Grace of Monaco.
She’s One of the Most Dashing European Royals
Feasibly one of the most-googled notions in respect to the royal couple’s civil ceremony, the wonder of Beatrice Borromeo’s wedding gowns became an instant talk-of-the-town. The four bridal dresses include two by Valentino and two by Armani Privé. The then bride-to-be opted for a pale pink, gold laced Valentino Haute Couture dress created in silk chiffon as the first wedding gown to be captured from the Prince’s Palace of Monaco.
On the night before the religious ceremony of the second Royal wedding, Beatrice Borromeo Casiraghi chose a bohemian gown with long sleeves by Valentino as a rehearsal dress. The third was a bespoke, ivory-laced Armani Privé gown, worn on the morning of the post civil-ceremony celebration held in Northern Italy at one of the islands owned by the Italian aristocratic family themselves.
Finally, the fairy-tale wedding’s exhilarated jollity of the nightfall presented new royal with another Armani Privé silk tulle gown in glistening white as a reception dress – truly an icon of the ultramodern loftiness.
Her Interests Revolve Around Writing and TV productions.
Graduating from Bocconi University with a law degree 11 years ago, the new Monegasque royal subsequently continued her studies in higher education doing a Masters in journalism at Columbia University Journalism School. Furthermore, Beatrice was seen appearing in a number of Italian television shows, such as Anno Zero starting in 2006 and Lady ‘Ndrangheta in 2015, where she contributed as a writer. Plus, her love for storytelling has exalted her choice of career in journalism further to starting her own documentary film company called Astrea Films, for which she produces and develops documentaries, as well as TV series, respectively.
Her Love for Fashion Once Made Her the Face of Buccellati
Since a very young age, this mother of two has always been appreciative of the inimitable beauty of craftsmanship and capabilities of talented artisans whose creations are a literal wonderment. This implicates why she kindly accepted the offer to become the face of Italian jewellery house Buccellati, the meticulous creations of which both Borromeo and her mother share the love for.
She is the New Dior Ambassador

Lastly, the aristocratic journalist and royal in-law has shared eminent intimacy with some of the world’s most prominent fashion houses, such as Dior, Valentino Garavani and Giorgio Armani whose historical heritage helps fuel the fashion industry we see today. The mother of two sons, Stefano and Francesco, is going to take on the accountability of being appointed as the ambassador of Dior. On January 26 – the day after the Dior’s Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2021 virtual show – a photo of the new Dior ambassador was unveiled through the fashion house’s official Instagram account showing the royal rocking a denim jumpsuit and D-connect sneakers. “A true icon of elegance, Beatrice shows new facets of femininity which is so cherished by Maria Grazia Chiuri”, said representatives of the couture house.
