This architect-turned-business-tycoon is best known for his township development across Southeast Asia. Earlier this year, the group merged three of its public-listed companies to improve stock liquidity. This year, it is seeking nearly $650 million in marketing sales. The group also launched a new life insurance company, Asuransi Ciputra Indonesia, recently. Ciputra is also known for creating the Ciputra University and the Ciputra Foundation.
