Jessica Sulistyo Kawengian is a mother-of-three and Commissioner and Chief Marketing Officer of Datra Internusa, a leading public space and sports infrastructure construction company. Specialising in creating spaces that inspire human connections – such as stadia, arenas and halls, the company’s achievements include helping to upgrade the Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex for the Asian Games last year.
Datra Internusa recently bought Ferco Seating Systems Indonesia. Both companies have ambitions to expand regionally and across industries. “We leverage on technology in our operations to deliver unrivalled one-stop, customisable solutions,” Jessica says.
“My parents taught me to value the people in our lives,” this graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York goes on. “From employees to friends and acquaintances – every individual is a unique gift. I have always loved learning and growing as a person as a result of building connections with people.”
Jessica admits that juggling between work and family is a daily struggle for balance. But she has learned to enjoy every moment by grounding herself in God’s love. “Through all the things that have happened in my life, I’ve learned to let go and let God be my moral compass to navigate through challenges.”
