Klots Home FurnisHing believes that decorating a living space appropriately should be a priority – whether the homeowner’s taste is classic or contemporary. The company’s table setting for Prestige is all about romance in spring. It’s a fusion of past and present, with modernism taking its place alongside classic elements
The allure of fresh delicate flowers is combined with the nest vases as centrepieces. It’s a table scape that shows richness of texture, shape and colour. With a soft and gentle feel, various gold elements let sumptuousness take the stage.
As an element of surprise, the Klots design team chose a selection of short and long coloured vases. They used home accessories and tableware dominated by white and gold hues to bring a crisp, clean yet luxurious feel.
Says the team of its work: “We combined several different textures and shapes, such as the oval tray that gives elegance to the table, a white classic urn that beautifully holds tall branches, a pumpkin- shaped box in white porcelain and an irregularly shaped case glass funnel vase.
“To create a beautiful layer of richness, we added a gold accent with a slim-ribbed texture vase. We used a vesper bowl’s electroplated gold surface with black matte interior, a clamshell bowl in brass from Aerin and muse candles in gold glaze porcelain from Jonathan Adler.
“The mood is very much about detailed elements that almost become art. And that is the key to creating such a table scape with its own character and focus on the smallest thing in the table and in that room.
“Our main idea was to bring the season of spring to the table. We let tall stems stand out amongst a simple tabletop line-up to execute effortlessly beautiful springtime styling. We bring oral accent on the table with our flower porcelain from Aerin as an accent. And our beautiful botanical wall art adds to the ambience.
“Our idea is to bring warmth and comfort for every home on this modern living in unique yet luxurious feel from our home accessories. Bearing the most detailed curves and bold shapes into a set of stories characterized with soulful nuance and grace unbounded by style.
“We combines different style of home decor from our favourite designers, such as Aerin, Barbara Barry, Jonathan Adler and Julia Buckingham. The items range from elegant trays, glamorous vases and bowls, to chic muse candles.
“Important elements of the setting are the flowers, accessories and also the napkins. To give the impression of spring, instead of opting for traditional napkin rings, we used porcelain flowers from the Aerin collection as decorative accents.
“As for the wall decorations, we use our latest collection of botanical art in frames from Denmark to add to the ambience. To give a thought to the entire look, our white ceramic vase with gold lid stands beautifully on an oval pedestal that embellishes the feel of the room.
“We used a floral centrepiece set in an exquisite Polish art glass bowl. All curved lines and gleaming edges of this bowl is an optical feast. We chose these flowers for the clean and fresh look they evoke. We also use our beautiful ceramic vase in soft pink and gold hues with gold flower accent on top from our latest collection as centrepiece. Our twig vase holder also gives natural elements to the table scape. And for the tall stems, we used our classic urn.
“Klots believes that it’s important when creating a table setting to be brave about using different textures, shapes and heights. Don’t be afraid to add something powerful to the table to create a memorable festive celebration.”
