When it comes to luxury, you can rest assured that Prestige has it covered. But with the sheer multitude, let alone variety, released regularly on the landscape, it can become rather difficult to figure out the best from the rest or to even pick up the newest and most exciting. As luck would have it, our editors are forever on the look out: discovering on-the-rise labels, picking up new products from cult brands and the finding the most desirable items there are. So for those that are curious what that might be, keep scrolling to discover what made the cut in our weekly Most Coveted list.

Aquazzua Sundance

So, the Sundance Plateau Rollerblade might not be the most practical, but who said shoes were made for walking anyway. The multicoloured sky-high disco sandals by Aquazzura for SS2020 is a reminder of the iconic Salvatore Ferragamo rainbow platform, except psyched up in metallic and crossed with Saint Laurent’s high heel roller skates. Creative Director Edgrado Osorio’s eccentric creation is all about fun and less about functionality. “My favourite shoes are always the ones that make you smile; the ones you see and know you will have a good time in them” he explains. This special pair of skates may never see a test drive in my ownership (as they are sadly for display only at this time), but the slightly more sensible wheelless version, the Sundance Plateau 140 could whimsy up my spring wardrobe. — Dara Chau (DC), Digital Editor

Minjukim Layered Ruffled Tulle-pannelled Silk-twill Mini Dress

My guess is, if you haven’t been hiding under a rock, that you’ve probably watched reality show and fashion design competition Next In Fashion. The popular Netflix series is hosted by Queer Eye personality Tan France and British model and designer Alexa Chung. But if you haven’t watched it then please stop reading now….. as the winner of the show was indeed Minju Kim. The South Korean designer’s eclectic designs have now garnered worldwide attention and thankfully for us, her whimsical fashion pieces are now available on Net-a-Porter. This baby pink mini dress reflects her style completely; sweet, but not overly so, with a structured yet joyful silhouette. This is definitely something I need in my life right now. — Fontaine Cheng (FC), Digital Writer

Aston Martin Vantage Roadster

Growing up, I’ve always wanted to be like James Bond. That’s why getting an Aston Martin will get me one step closer to feeling like a double 0 agent. The new 2021 Aston Martin Vantage Roadster is equipped with a Mercedes-AMG- sources 4.0- litre twin-turbo engine, 503 horsepower and can go from 0-60 in just 3.7 seconds. The exterior of the car sees a mean and sporty aesthetic, with the roof capable of folding down into the stowaway in under seven seconds. Now I’ll just have to modify it with gadgets, and a rotating license plate. Aston Martin is taking pre-orders now. — Austin Miao (AM), Social Media Manager

And since I need to keep my head warm and my mind cool, I’m looking to British millennial milliner Emma Brewin who dresses up London’s cool kids. Created using sustainable faux fur, this beret is the sumptuous accessory that exudes glamour even on the coldest of days. Plus it’s just so soft and fluffy. It also comes in some fun colours, but i’m opting for chic black for full outfit suitability. — FC

The Kooples Long Pleated Dress

The theme of rock romance continues for The Kooples’ Spring/Summer 2020 collection. The edgy bohemian grunge aesthetic is so versatile and can be easily dressed up or down. One of the best things about the French brand is its monochromatic palette and range of textured materials. This long pleated dress is a classic silhouette with a modern twist, featuring a handkerchief hem, sheer lace frill detailing, lantern long-sleeves and a flattering draped crossover neckline. Can’t wait to pair it with some combat boots, cowboy belt and chunky jewellery. — DC
