Based on the books The Snowden Files (Luke Harding) and Time of the Octopus (Anatoly Kucherena), Snowden opens in Indonesian theaters this week. Joseph-Gordon Levitt plays titular role, sharing screen with Shailene Woodley, Melissa Leo and Zachary Quinto. First opened in July at Comic-Con, the movie has grossed over $23 million worldwide.
