Gold was chosen as the main colour for this elegant, buffet-style summer table setting created by L. Shinta and her team at Elite. To celebrate the arrival of summer, L. Shinta and her design team at Elite Grahacipta created an informal, but elegant, buffet-style table setting. Gold was chosen as the main colour for the decoration, since it symbolises the idea of festivity while also highlighting the concept of luxury.
Since the idea of buffet serviceat home has become so popular among party givers, the setting is suitable for any kind of meal – brunch, lunch, dinner – and for parties or social gatherings of just about any type. A casual setting is particularly appropriate for the enjoyment of appetisers and desserts. Because it is such a relaxed occasion, the placement of the tableware does not really follow conventional table-setting etiquette. Most of the tableware selected for the setting came from L’Objet (Ionic Collection, Deco Leaves Collection, Alchimie, Fortuny Collection, Cubisme Collection, Han Collection). The centerpiece of Elite’s summer table setting is the Spirale Vase by Baccarat. The vase were chosen to balance the pattern from the tableware and giving more luxury touch on the table.
Along with the vases, Elite chose a gold Baccarat Mille Nuits candle holder to decorate the table, along with gold Baccarat Eye Votive candle holders, a L’Objet Vessel Candle, a Baccarat crystal Papillon Lucky Butterfly, and a Natural Curiosities Bird Cage Candle by L’Objet.
