On March 31, 2016, HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana unveiled her highly anticipated SIRIVANNAVARI Spring/Summer 2016 Collection to a group of select media and VIPs at Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon.
The collection is inspired by a timeline of art history, from romanticism all the way to impressionism, and consists of 48 looks – highlighted by stunning structures, silhouettes and embroidery.
“I started this collection by sketching a picture at Chateu de Versailles in Paris,” says Princess Sirivannavari. “I sat on a bench and breathed in the ambiance… Patterns and silhouettes are very crucial. The ‘Tulip’ is the signature of my creations in this collection. Fundamentally, patterns are the most significant element of dressmaking, and that’s why I prioritise patterns as the heart of SIRIVANNAVARI.”
