Titled “Mai Troppo,” which means “never too much,” the new campaign alligns with the maison’s flamboyant approach to high jewellery.
Roman jeweller Bvlgari’s latest advertising campaign “Mai Troppo” is deeply rooted in flamboyant Roman exuberance. Lensed on the streets of Rome by Swedish director and photographer Johan Renck – who is known for his uncompromised love for beauty and for his deep explorations of characters’ multifaceted personalities – the campaign showcases an outstanding cast including super model Lily Aldridge, British actress Naomi Scott and American star Zendaya.
These three talented, powerful and beautiful women are captured in different moments of their life. More importantly, they showcase the fierce, brave and unapologetic approach to life that they share with Bvlgari. Interestingly, through the scenes are intense and vibrant, it’s safe to say that the campaign is a reflection of the brand’s ode to life, happiness and joy. That being said, let’s continue to the actual stars of the story.
First off, we see a super glam Lily Aldridge in Bvlgari’s HJ collection while walking by Rome’s Fori Imperiali.
Then, Naomi Scott’s showcases the new Bzero1 rings as she indulges in a chocolate dessert at a high-tech kitchen. Sharp-eyed Bvlgari fans will note that she’s also accompanied by Diva jewels.
On the other hand, Zendaya sparkles in a combination of diamond Fiorever pieces and an Octo Roma 18kt rose gold watch as she poses in a lush garden.
And in a charming extra twist, Chinese-Canadian superstar singer and actor Kris Wu joins in with an Octo steel watch spotted on his wrist, which further exalts the luxurious, precious and exuberant appeal of Bvlgari’s most iconic ranges, from its High Jewelry creations to the Serpenti, B.Zero 1, Fiorever and Divas’ Dream.
