Prada is delivering medical overalls and masks

On 18 March, The Italian fashion house announced that it had begun the production of 80,000 medical overalls and 11,000 masks for healthcare personnel, after receiving a request from the Tuscany region. These items are being produced at Prada’s factory in Montone, Perugia, staying open just for this purpose. The overalls and masks will be completed and ready to be delivered by 6 April.

Louis Vuitton's Néo Noé Empreinte bucket bags to launch online

Gaston-Louis Vuitton first designed this bucket bag in 1932 following a request from a Champagne producer for a sturdy yet stylish bag to transport bottles of bubbly. Fast forward to a 2020 spin on the Néo Noé, now in a supple embossed monogram leather with a drawstring closure and gold hardware. Available in  3 colour ways – Noir, Marine Rouge and Crème, the bucket bags are available for pre-launch online and via the app.

The Gucci Podcast speaks to Massimo Bottura

In the latest episode of the Gucci Podcast, Gucci President and CEO Marco Bizzarri talks to his old school-friend Massimo Bottura, three-Michelin-star chef who recently set up an online cooking show he calls Kitchen Quarantine. The duo discuss childhood memories and the two Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura restaurants in Florence and in Los Angeles, which were born as a result of their friendship.

Coach collaborates with Richard Bernstein
For its Spring 2020 collection, Coach has enlisted the creativity of artist Richard Bernstein. The result is a collaboration that combines bold New York attitude and unique works of pop art and portraiture. Some standouts from the collection such as tees and bags feature the iconic artwork of Bernstein’s portraits of Barbra Streisand, Michael J.Fox, Rob Lowe and Jello Hearts.

FERN launches its Raya collection

Malaysian design house FERN has unveiled it’s Raya 2020 collection titled The Moroccan Series. It’s inspired by the dramatic landscape, rich culture, history, landscapes and people of Morocco. The gorgeous silhouettes and prints incorporate elements drawing inspiration from the night sky, the damask rose and the intrinsically beautiful mosaic patterns at the Medina of Fez. The collection will be available at FERN’s flagship store in Bangsar Village II as soon as it reopens for business.
