“Storytelling is a way to survive isolation.” As we enter yet another week of partial lockdown, some of us may be experiencing a bout of low morale — or, well, boredom. In the midst of these trying times, Ferragamo has used its global platform to launch a digital project ‘Trivia’, aimed at creating a sense of community, and sharing messages of solidarity and to never give up.
Transcending physical barriers, the initiative was launched through the brand’s social channels, Instagram and Facebook, and encompassed a series of fun quizzes, anecdotes, and significant stories that revolved around tales about the adventures of Salvatore Ferragamo — the man who founded the eponymous brand. Colourful graphics and episodically released narratives gave audiences the chance to revisit Ferragamo’s fascinating past, as well as the key moments from the Founder’s life — one that was defined by elements of strength, determination, curiosity, and genius.
The fairy-tale like stories and interactive quizzes were released in five episodes every Wednesday and Saturday, with the last one rolled out on April 4. For those of us who are still looking for a sense of belonging, or something to cheer ourselves up during these tough moments of isolation, the Trivia episodes can still be viewed and enjoyed via Ferragamo’s Instagram story highlights, under #TRIVIA.
