On 29 February 2020, Hermès presented its fall/winter 2020 womenswear collection in Paris. Known for its luxe accessories, Hermès also thrives in making distinctive sophisticated dressing, thanks to its Creative Director Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski who just made fashion editors locked their eyes to every detail of the latest collection.
“What is beautiful must be useful. It’s a bit of the school of the Bauhaus—that process of stripping away the superficial to get to the functional,” said Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski about her latest designs. Indeed, the lively womenswear collection offers subtle luxury details with a punch of ’80s revival.
At the Hermès fall/winter 2020 womenswear collection show, the French luxury brand made a chic stable like runway. Mirroring its lipstick debut packaging, models were walking through the pantone-coloured poles that were dispersed on the runway.
When the first look of multicoloured shirtdress came in, you can feel the ease yet strong vibes through Hermès chic styling with neutral-coloured riding boots and turtleneck that complements the shirt-dress look. If you are not into colour blocking, you will love to play with more colours, if not, opt for vibrant monochrome looks. Vanhee-Cybulski was cleverly blending functionality and flair with pleats, big pockets, and clean-cut outfits, all wrapped in a flattering silhouette.
