On the first week of October, Louis Vuitton Indonesia transformed the Langham Residence Jakarta into a beautiful haven for this year’s highly anticipated Exotic Event.
Named ‘The Secret Santuary‘, more than 70 finest Louis Vuitton Exotic leather bags have been brought into Jakarta for the exclusive presentation. The Exotic leather collection was displayed in the various rooms of a modern Louis Vuitton woman’s secret sanctuary, along with Louis Vuitton lifestyle pieces in selected Objets Nomades and made-to-order hardsided trunks. It was a feast for the senses!
Distinguished guests and valued clients were ushered into the Artisan Room, the very first experiential room. They were greeted by the Maison’s artisan flown in from Paris especially for the occasion to demonstrate the exquisite assemble of the crocodile-skin in Capucines, the brand’s new classic bag.
This room also presented a lovely ambience set from the Objets Nomades, hard-sided trunks and an exquisite collection of exotic leather bags, to accompany the lovely panoramic view of the city.
Her Secret Wardrobe
This gorgeous room, a larger-than-life walk-in closet featured the latest Fall Winter 2019 Ready-To-Wear women collection designed by Nicolas Ghesquière. It’s a mosaic of clashing textures, prints, punkish metal embellishments, face-framing ruffles, and leather skullcaps.
Different leather bags, hand-made using rare crocodile porosus skin of the finest selection, were also showcased in this room. Over 350 different steps and a special technique developed through skin glazing using agate stones, the crocodile leather bags exudes a classic shiny look that blends in well with the modern shapes of Louis Vuitton leather bags, such as the Capucines, Boite Chapeau, and Petite Malle.
Her Flower Room
The Flower Room looked good AND smelled good. It was a space filled with a Louis Vuitton woman’s favourite flower ensemble in a Blossom Vase by Tokujin Yoshioka.
The overpowering scent of the Louis Vuitton fragrance was complemented by a vibrant range of exotic leather bags and Louis Vuitton Petits Nomades Origami Flowers by Atelier Oi.
To cater to its male clientele, the Louis Vuitton men’s room was a curation of bold hard-sided trunks, masculine men’s exotic leather goods, and artistic pieces from the Objets Nomades collection.
The brand also brought out the Diamond Screen by Marcel Wanders and Stool by Atelier Oi.
Her Tea Salon
The fifth room a.k.a. the VIC Salon room is adorned with brilliant hues from the Louis Vuitton exotic bag collection.
It was complemented with artistic pieces from the Objets Nomades collection: Spiral Lamp Suspended by Atelier Oi and Bell Lamp by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby.
Her Little Library
The final room called the Little Library was showcased unique pieces of the Louis Vuitton Cocoon by the Campana brothers and Talisman Table by India Mahdavi, offering an atmosphere of tranquility and moments of solitude. It was nothing short of luxurious!
