When it comes to luxury, you can rest assured that Prestige has it covered.
But with the sheer multitude, let alone variety, released regularly on the landscape, it can become rather difficult to figure out the best from the rest or to even pick up the newest and most exciting. As luck would have it, our editors are forever on the look out: discovering on-the-rise labels, picking up new products from cult brands and the finding the most desirable items there are. So for those that are curious what that might be, keep scrolling to discover what made the cut in our weekly Most Coveted list.
If, like us, you were watching Simon Porte Jacquemus’ incredibly romantic runway show for his SS21 collection with absolute joy, the French brand is probably still on your mind. Channelling the models that sashayed through the fields of golden wheat, my most coveted item this week is the Le panier Soleil straw basket bag from this season. Handmade with nubuck finishings and an outside pocket in sunshine yellow, I’m so ready to walk through wheat too. — Fontaine Cheng, Digital Editor
My WFH wardrobe is all and only about function – and that function is called cosy. So in the thick of wave three in Hong Kong, and to lift my spirits, I turn to comfort and humour to get me through tough times. Sacai’s oversized hoodie featuring theoretical physicist Albert Einstein (in his most recognised whacky photo with his tongue out) and inspirational quote serves as a reminder that you don’t have to take yourself too seriously all the time. — Dara Chau, Senior Digital Editor
Streetwear label Clot is back at it again with another collaboration Nike x Medicom Toy. The new release, inspired by the previous “Royale University Blue Silk” back in 2019, presents what they call “Black Silk 1000% Be@rbrick” which features a removable black silk layer. The concept is a continuation of the ideas to express externalism and internalism — while staying true to yourself. Simply peel the layer back like an onion to reveal the “Rose Gold Silk”. Genius. — Tiffany Poon, Society Editor
