When news broke last year that top model Miranda Kerr was engaged to marry Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, the world held its breath for the wedding. The pair finally tied the knot in May, keeping the affair super intimate with only 45 guests invited to their home in Brentwood, Los Angeles. Although one might think that snaps of the wedding will be appearing on Snapchat then and there, the pair decided to keep the wedding very private by applying a social media ban throughout the reception and ceremony.
Only recently, the pair let Dior revealed details of Miranda’s wedding dress. The pair was also photographed in their big day attire by Patrick Demarchelier for Vogue. Miranda had reportedly been dreaming about the dress since Evan popped the question
Miranda’s dress is a beauty in its modesty. With long sleeves and long neck, the dress has a fitted bodice and fairy-tale like circle skirt. The skirt has an amazing structure thanks to Dior’s signature inner layer. “A dress that fully covers you creates a sense of purity and mystery,” Miranda told Vogue about her dress.
The dress sports an immaculate detailing in the form of delicate flower adornments, mimicking lily of the valley, as envisioned by Maria Grazia Chiuri herself. The Dior’s Creative Director engaged in a few fittings in Paris, while the final one was done at the pair’s home. The flower girl’s dress was designed by Dior Baby’s Creative Director Cordelia de Castellane to match the bride’s.
