Now that we’ve recovered from the over-the-top camp of the
Met Gala, our attention is now turned to the South of France, home of the annual Cannes Film Festival. Now in its 72nd edition, the festival isn’t just a showcase of the world’s greatest films — it’s also where A-list celebrities turn out in head-turning high fashion ensembles. American model and actress Camila Morrone walked the red carpet of the screening of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood in a Miu Miu gown paired with a Bvlgari Cinemagia necklace — inspired by Marilyn Monroe’s iconic song Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend — set with 105 round diamonds and pavé-set diamonds carefully arranged around a 1.54-ct round diamond.

At the opening ceremony and screening of The Dead Don’t Die, Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani wore a necklace from Cartier’s upcoming Magnitude High Jewelry Collection. Set in white gold, it features one 5.32-ct Colombian sugarloaf emerald at its center, surrounded by two 25.24-ct cabochon-cut black opals, lapis lazuli, and diamonds.
