The Hong Kong-based mask brand is known for its collaborative designs and the quality of its products
Since its founding in March 2020, masklab has quickly built a reputation for itself by introducing fashionable protective masks that truly deliver on those two aspects. Today, the brand is particularly known for its collaborations with famous designers and artists. A great case in point would be masklab’s latest charity collaboration with Taiwanese actress Christina Mok or the long-term partnership with Hong Kong print house Maeli Studios. These are, of course, on top of masklab’s own in-house designs.
On a more technical note, masklab is known for its Korean Respirator (KF) Series masks, which feature a durable, breathable, and water-resistant fabric to ensure both comfort and usability. More importantly, the mask won’t get stained by makeup, and conversely won’t smudge makeup as well. Then, there’s also the 3-ply Surgical Series, which are made using a special Hydrophilic ESPP Bio Component material and designed to comfortably fit to the face.
On an even more technical note, both the KF Series and Surgical Series are non-toxic, use azo-free dyes, and have met the criteria for ASTM F2100 Level 3 certification. They also have BFE and PFE (Bacterial and Particle Filtration Efficiency) filtering rates above 99 percent. Put simply, these are extremely safe masks.
On a final note, to celebrate the holy month of Ramadhan, masklab is offering a special discount using the code RAMADHAN2021 which is valid until May 31, 2021. For more information and to see masklab’s latest collections, head on over to masklab.id.
