The Greatest Dresses of All Time at the Oscars

The 91st Academy Awards will be held soon on Sunday, February 24, 2019. As the glorified annual award event which started since 1929 at Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, California, fans are not only excited for knowing who is going to accept the awards, but also the great dresses that the celebrities wore when they arrived on the red carpet.

Most of the celebrities had trademarked their red carpet dresses, such as Julia Roberts when she wore the monochrome Valentino dress in 2001. Or when fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker called her Dior Couture gown as “barely mint” coloured in 2009. After searching for the most iconic dresses at the Oscars, we spotted that only Angelina Jolie who owned the simple all-black look when she arrived at the 84th Annual Academy Awards in 2012 with that sexy thigh-high slit gown by Atelier Versace.
