No one else can offer a better definition for Bvlgari’s new Octo Finissimo than Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin.
A watch “you can wear from the tennis court to the board room,” he noted during its debut in Dubai this year, the new edition of the award-winning luxury sports watch is fueled by passion and driven by excellence and artistry. The new Octo Finissimo Steel comes with the thinnest automatic movement and water resistance of 100 meters, made possible by increasing the case just slightly to 6.4mm and adding a screw-down crown.
Those who are familiar with the Octo history are well aware that, since its debut in 2014, this gem from Bvlgari has redefined the landscape of sports watches. Its six World-Record-holding designs, combined with technical expertise, makes the Octo Finissimo a darling for both watch connoisseurs and trends followers alike. The 2020 edition comes in 40mm extra-thin satin-polished steel case with transparent caseback, polished steel screw-down crown set with ceramic inlay, black or blue lacquered dial with sunburst finishing, faceted diamond rhodium-plated hands. The bracelet is made of integrated satin-polished steel bracelet with folding clasp.
The thinness and refined design is perfected with the ultra-performance featuring a mechanical manufacture movement with automatic winding via a platinum micro-rotor, hours, minutes and small seconds indications. The BVL138 Finissimo caliber is adorned with Côtes de Genève motif, chamfered bridges and circular-grained baseplate, 60-hour power reserve, 21,600 VpH.
