Chris Salans and his chef friends at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants create a special 6-hands dinner event at Mozaic Restaurant Bali
It’s really not an exaggeration to say that Chris Salans has put Bali on the foodie map. After all, his restaurant, Mozaic, is one of the first gastronomy restaurants on the island, introducing a whole new world of culinary experience. The Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef is also not a stranger to collaborating with other talented chefs and often inviting them to his restaurant to create unique dinner experience.
Recently, The Chris Salans group has announced a special 6-hands Michelin Star dinner event at Mozaic restaurant gastronomique in Ubud, Bali on Friday, August 28. 2020. For this special occasion Chef and Owner Chris Salans has invited two of his talented friends who have been chefs de cuisine at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants: Thomas Keller, a 3-star Michelin chef for whom Chris himself has chef-ed, Justine Mauté, ex chef de cuisine for Yannick Alleno and Gildas Périn from Nicolas Sale.
The three chefs are preparing a unique seven-course tasting menu that will showcase their culinary expertise. There’s also an option of special pairing with premium wines selected by Mozaic’s master sommelier Jean Francois Moch.
“Bali and Ubud are going through some tough times. It is time for chefs to come together more than ever and support each other and the restaurant trade of Bali. Residents of Bali are hungry for entertainment and so we have devised a few unique collaboration events for them over the next few months. Events which, in normal time, would not be possible to put together. Be ready to be surprised!” says Chris Salans.
