The night of reflection — or pure revelry — is almost here. If popping champagne to pulsating beats and a mesmerising light show is your speed, here are the best New Year’s Eve parties to count down to 2020.
An epic party awaits 57 floors above ground at Lavo. You’re going to want to line your stomach with a hearty feast, courtesy of an Italian-American buffet spread, before hitting the open bar that includes free-flowing champagne, wine, beer, and spirits. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Party in the electric sky this New Year’s Eve at Bar Rouge which will be turned into a club in the clouds (or the top floor of Swissotel the Stamford). Come dressed in midnight blue and shimmy to high voltage beats by resident DJs, well into the night after catching the firework display on the 71st floor.
Not one for raucous parties? Kick the New Year’s Eve action into high gear — sans the blaring air horns and rave music — at Smoke and Mirrors. Standing ticket includes two glasses of champagne and one glass of spirit. Here with the gang? Table packages are available in two options — indoor lounge for intimate celebrations or the outdoor terrace with clear views of the display. This includes two bottles of bubbly, one bottle of whisky, and a choice of a bottle of vodka or gin.
If spellbinding lights, heart-pounding beats, and a beautiful crowd seem like your thing this New Year’s Eve, head to Marquee. Dutch DJ & record producer duo W&W will light up the mega party complex with their signature spin on big room progressive house and crowd favourite EDM tunes. Hit up the ferris wheel if you’re looking to seal the New Year with a kiss away from the dancefloor.
Say farewell to 2019 in absolute glamour at Ce La Vi, a rooftop destination with the island’s most coveted views of the spectacular light show. Watch the last sunset of the year at the SkyBar, and groove to the live percussionist who will take the stage at 10pm. The main countdown however takes place at its Club Lounge. Themed after Vegas Nights, you’re invited to dress in your baddest and boldest as the space transforms into a Sin City of snake charmers, fire breathers, and a countdown with the biggest chart toppers.
In true Lulu’s Lounge style, it’s counting down to New Year’s Eve 100 Years Late with a 1920s themed party. Expect larger-than-life spectacles from the artists, served with a side of quality bottle service, cocktails, and music to inspire real, raucous, revelry.
