Wake up and makeup! With a ton of new beauty launches on our radar, we got hard to work finding the ones that we liked best. This month, we have the launch of Skin Regimen in Malaysia, two fragrances just in time for working your holiday party circuit and a nifty tool for masking the late nights that come with.
1. Skin Regimen 15.0 Vit C Booster
What it does: Because Vitamin C isn’t stabilised, the product comes with a sachet of Vitamin C powder that you’ll need to pour into the booster, activating it for just up to a month. The booster helps to even out the skin tone while banishing dullness and dark spots. Skin Regimen’s entire line of products are free from synthetic fragrances, silicones, animal derivatives, artificial colorants, mineral oils and parabens.
The verdict: It gives your skin that ‘healthy’ feeling from within and it only gets better the more you use it. We recommend trying this product for a month leading up to a big event.
2. Lancôme La Vie Est Belle Flowers Of Happiness
What it does: This fragrance is the newest addition to Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle fragrance collection. “La vie est belle” which is a French expression meaning “Life is beautiful” is fair play to the scent, made up of peony, rose, jasmine and lily of the valley.
The verdict: Not all floral scents get it right, but this one does. It’s light enough to not overpower like a floral bath, but sweet enough to become your unmistakable signature scent.

3. Clé de Peau Beauté La Crème
What it does: The iconic cream harnesses the brand’s Illuminating Complex EX which basically, is a powerhouse of anti-ageing ingredients. For the Christmas 2018 collection, the La Crème is available in a magical-looking pink design with intricate details such as hidden butterflies.
4. Burberry Her
What it does: The newest Burberry scent created by master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian is vibrant, fruity and floral. It opens with a burst of red and dark berries, infuses jasmine and violet at the heart, and warms to base notes of dry amber and musk. The elegant bottle is inspired by an archived design for Burberry’s first fragrance, ‘Burberrys for Men’ which launched in 1981.
The verdict: It’s a very memorable scent and given its diverse cocktail of notes, should please anyone and everyone. The bottle can be personalised with engraved initials on a gold charm around its neck, making it a cute Christmas gift.
5. Sisley Stylo Lumiere
What it does: It’s a highlighter pen to give your face a touch of radiance where you please. The formula packs pigments and soft focus agents to ‘blur’ where dabbed onto and finishes up with a modest glow. You can eliminate shadowy areas, illuminate the eye area and smoothen out wrinkles and fine lines. It also contains active skincare ingredients like açai extracts, golden apple extracts and oat seeds.
The verdict: We like that the pen doesn’t do just one thing, nor does it come in one universal shade. In fact, it comes in four shades to complement pink, beige and golden skin undertones. There aren’t any rules for applying it — you could set it onto skin before foundation, or even as a final step to brighten up the complexion.
