Given that the current Movement Control Order (MCO) has been extended throughout the month of April, it just means that we’ll be stuck indoors for the foreseeable future. Aside from that, exercise has been on everyone’s lips the past few weeks as many see this as a perfect time to get in shape.

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York is offering a wide range of free online courses dedicated to the arts. There are many different courses available on Coursera, which includes, “Fashion as design,” “Seeing through photography,” “In the studio: abstract post-war painting,” “Modern art and ideas,” and “What is contemporary art?”. These courses look to develop your photography skills as well as honing your knowledge in modern and contemporary art.
This massive database of the agency’s educational material covers plenty of subjects in various formats like e-books, videos, and podcasts. Both virtual and augmented reality technology tours of the Hubble Space Telescope and the International Space Station are also available. There is also an app that virtually puts you in the cockpit of a NASA spacecraft.
Some big names in the world of photography like Leica, Olympus, and Nikon are offering free online courses and talks. First up is the “Home with Olympus Sessions”, which connects you with technical experts in either a one-on-one or group session to talk about everything photography. Leica, on the other hand, is offering online talks with various personalities, including renowned photographers, actors, and musicians to name a few. Lastly is Nikon with its free online photography classes with a total of 10 lessons.
