A chic dining experience located in Bangsar South, Vogue Lounge KL has devised its own fashionable spin to the traditional yee sang dish by offering an artfully-designed female silhouette crafted using slivers of salmon, jellyfish, and edible 24K gold flakes. Other ingredients to be had include crunchy mixed nuts, a melange of fresh vegetables including lettuce, cabbage, cucumber and radish, topped with drizzles of healthy olive oil and addictive yee sang sauce.

The culinary team at Ruyi & Lyn will be offering six contemporary variants on the traditional dish which includes the limited-edition Mighty Mouse “YU” Sang that was created in conjunction with this year’s Chinese zodiac. Premium ingredients included in this lucky toss include a colourful mix of salted egg yolk crispy fish skin with sea caviar and Atlantic salmon.

For this year’s celebrations, YEN has teamed up with Singapore’s The Golden Duck company to add a sprinkling of gourmet Salted Egg Fish Skin Crunchy Crisps for its three varieties of yee sang. The Abalone Yee Sang with caviar, gold flakes and truffle oil is an absolute treat for discerning diners with a taste of the finer things in life.

For this year’s signature yee sang presentation , Chef Jimmy Wong has combined quality ingredients with an extra crunchy surprise. The experience begins with the cracking of crispy noodles to symbolise the breaking of a new year. Once done, diners will feast on prized ingredients such as salmon belly, tuna toro, Australian lobster and Norwegian salmon skin for that extra burst of taste and texture.

Discerning diners at Lai Po Heen will be spoiled for choice by the restaurant’s enticing a selection of yee sang delights. Worth the splurge is the MO Signature Yee Sang comprising salmon, tuna, butter fish and jellyfish carefully arranged to resemble the hotel’s iconic fan symbol.

Ideal for fans of fresh seafood, this year’s yee sang offerings at Nobu Kuala Lumpur include the Prosperity Sashimi Platter, a delicious spread of tuna, yellowtail and salmon sashimi paired with healthy auspicious ingredients. Diners can also request to swap the sashimi with a whole lobster for an extra luxurious experience.
