Distinguished members of the Paneristi recently converged at Shanghai’s Minsheng Art Wharf to witness the official launch of the Survival Instruments for Modern Heroes by Panerai. Inspired by the mysterious aquatic realm that lurks beneath the ocean surface, the interactive private cocktail and dinner experience saw guests immersing themselves in the world of Panerai while previewing the latest collections from the luxury Italian watchmaker. Hosted by CEO Jean-Marc Pontroué, notable VIPs in attendance included official brand ambassadors free-diving champion Guillaume Néry and explorer Mike Horn.
Best described as the perfect synthesis of Swiss watchmaking prowess and creative Italian design, the brand founded in 1860 was initially known as a supplier of precision instruments to the Italian Navy. From small beginnings came great things and, today, Panerai has earned a massive following worldwide for its timekeeping icons including the Luminor and Radiomir.
