The weekend of celebrations for this year’s Prestige KK Ball continued with an exclusive dinner party hosted by Martell. Accompanying the medley of cognacs was one of Kota Kinabalu’s famous sunsets, captured perfectly from Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort & Spa. Our very own Rubin Khoo, Associate Publisher of Hubert Burda Media Malaysia, officially welcomed the group of dapper gentlemen and elegant ladies, before introducing Lionel Lau, sommelier and representative of Pernod Ricard Malaysia. Guests were treated to a cognac pairing with dishes like the Martini Consomme, as Lionel walked them through the flavours of each cognac pairing.
