Social butterfly on the loose? That’s you. This week you’ll want to get into the groove of things as UK pop act AlunaGeorge puts on a show at KYO, while Malaysian award-winning singer Ning Baizura does the same, albeit in our national zoo in support of tigers. In the mood to shop? We hear you, and hopefully even bump into you at KLPAC and Pavilion KL where two events are somewhat polar opposites: an indulgent investment for timepieces, and a vintage yard sale in tune with zero waste living.
What doesn't spark joy for one person might for another, and that's just how you can practice the zero waste movement this weekend. Kabut in the Park is a non-profit platform created to promote sustainable living, and in spreading the message is throwing a car boot yard sale at the carpark of KLPAC. Registration for vendors are now closed but everyone is more than welcome to come mingle, shop and give new life to preloved items.

The alliance, which comprises of Malaysian Nature Society, Traffic Southeast Asia, Wildlife Conservation Society-Malaysia Programme and WWF Malaysia, works closely with tribes and government organisations in protecting and conserving the tiger population. The concert will also feature an autograph and photography session with Ning at the Elephant and Tiger sections after her performance.
