BMW Group Malaysia is celebrating the season of giving at Bangsar Shopping Centre from now until 26 December 2019, giving the public a chance to win exclusive BMW merchandise via lucky draw contests, test drives of their dream BMW models. The initiatives are also in support of fulfilling the Christmas wish lists of the children from Shelter. Visitors can help fulfil a wish by purchasing an item off the children’s list and dropping them off in the ‘Joy of Giving’ box placed in the boot of the First-Ever BMW X7 that is on display next to La Bodega.
Those interested in cosmology may be familiar with the works of Luso-Malay mestiço cosmographer Manuel Godinho de Erédia, who lived and worked in the Portuguese Estado da Índia around the turn of the seventeenth century. Delving into Erédia’s written and visual works, Malaysia Design Archive is holding a talk hosted by Chase Caldwell Smith, Co-Host of the Global History Podcast, and moderated by Dr. Felice Noelle Rodriguez, research fellow at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University, the Philippines.
The Tanzanian Germany-based comedian is no stranger Malaysia. You might have seen him in the film ‘Lelaki Harapan Dunia’ (2014), sold out solo shows and soon even on iFlix. Simply referred to as Captain on stage, his shows combine storytelling, charm, improvisation, and a dash of political incorrectness in the name of comedy. Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8.15pm.
