Before it was destroyed in a fire, the Madras Theatre was an icon back in the 60s and 70s. Where you'd now find a wet market, bodies including Think City, DBKL and Citi Foundation are working to restore its iconic reputation in entertainment as part of the Laneway Improvement Programme. Lorong Fest is just one of the efforts we'll be seeing along the historic laneways of Kuala Lumpur, with activities like film screenings, ais kacang workshops, a photo exhibition, along with performances by the Dhol Federation, Ryot Jones and more to keep you entertained. The event takes place from 3pm to 10pm on Friday, and from 10am to 10pm during the weekend.
