Events in Kuala Lumpur from 2 to 9 March 2020:
Drawings, whether when traced back to caves way back when, or doodles in our notebooks, have always been personal and honest. Six artists from Thailand, Aracha Cholitgul, Kamolros Wonguthum, Pakinee Srijaroensuk, Prae Pupityastaporn, Orawan Arunak and Unchalee Anantawat, are showcasing their thoughts through art in pieces grounded in drawings at this exhibition. ‘They Have Brought Erasers With Them’ is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 12pm to 7pm.
Ever been told you fight like a girl? Well done, you. This International Women’s Day, come celebrate at TRIBE with a full afternoon comprising of a Box + Band class with Janine, and sound healing by Savy of Ohana Jo. Complimentary smoothies and goodie bags are also in store. You’re required to bring your own mat for the sound healing session. The event runs from 2.30pm to 5pm.
Relatively new on the scene, MoMo’s first edition of Tacos & Tunes had us waiting for the next – and it’s here! You can expect music curated the the KL-based collective Under The Radar, with DJs Bunga, Emir Hemono and Nafsu, as well as endless tacos and drinks. The event runs from 6pm to 12pm.
Malaysia Women Marathon is back to celebrate International Women’s Day 2020. The marathon, which includes a race portion, is divided into different categories to suit all levels of marathoners from beginners to seasoned professionals. Five lucky participants will be receive flight tickets and entries for theWomen Run Taipei, KinMen Marathon, and Nagoya Women Marathon. Flag-off time starts at 7am for the 5km run.
