Just recently, Burberry Beauty announced a new member of the family officially: Isamaya Ffrench as the brand’s new Global Beauty Director.
Ffrench was a makeup artist who began Dazed Beauty in 2017 while also spending her time and expertise working with numerous luxury cosmetic brands. Still, Ffrench isn’t all that “new” to the Burberry family — Ffrench has had her foray with the brand when she worked on its TB Monogram as well as the Festive 2019 campaigns under Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci. He himself praised Ffrench as “the perfect ambassador to interpret the tension between classical and creative for Burberry Beauty”.
Here we get introduced to the new Global Beauty Director of Burberry Beauty with a quick Q&A:
Thank you! For me, it’s time to start focusing on my plans and goals for 2021 and the new Burberry Beauty product launches.
Education, inspiration, new ways of approaching your makeup!
The way I see it, what’s considered to be the “new normal” is a constant evolution. And with Burberry Beauty, we’re a brand that is all about timeless, classic and high-performance products that will ultimately stand the test of time and equally satisfy what we need right now.
I love the Fresh Glow Palette (available in September) – it’s so good for your everyday skin finisher. This palette is multi-use, you can use it for contouring or simply to finalize your look and create the perfect Burberry glow. I love the fact that the palette comes with a large mirror and it makes it so convenient to carry it away. I also love the Lip Velvet Crush Sheer-Matte Stain as they are super hydrating and gentle. My favourite colour is Lip Velvet crush Cinnamon No. 25. You might have seen on Instagram, I recently did a tutorial with my friend Rebecca and it suits all skin tones.
Two tips actually — first, a freezing cold shower will help boost circulation in your skin. Second, I always love applying a Vitamin C serum before my moisturiser in the morning.
