Looking for a little guidance on how to look your very best during your next swanky event? We can’t think of a better person to ask than this year’s Best Dressed Male, Mah Kok Wah. The managing director of aviation-based Zigmar Sdn Bhd shares a couple of tips on how to always look on top of one’s game during any formal evening occasion.
I started googling a few brands that I like the most about a month before. Choosing an outfit in Malaysia is a bit difficult because stores don’t carry the full range of the season and you might not know how the cutting is like if you preorder. That’s why I give myself about a month to find an outfit that fits best, with extra time to spare to make any alterations and such.
While searching for the right outfit, I know it also means it’s time for me to start working out. I try my very best to work out at least 4 times a week. I know that 16 workouts in a month isn’t enough to make any drastic changes to my physique, but it’ll help me maintain and stop gaining before the event.
Whenever I feel lazy and need some motivation, watching Korean actor Rain training up his body in the movie called Ninja Assassin always helps. Lastly, a week before the event, I’ll go for a facial and a trim.
