Supporting female-led businesses for growth and success.
Cartier Women’s Initiative in partnership with INSEAD Business School aims to empower female entrepreneurs. Its mission is simple: providing women with financial, social and human capital support. With these means, the initiative helps women grow their business while building leadership skills.
As an international entrepreneurship programme, Cartier Women’s Initiative 2021 is now open to women-run and women-owned businesses with a goal of sustainable social and/or environmental impact, from anywhere in the world. Since it began in 2006, the programme has accompanied 240 female entrepreneurs from 56 countries with over 3 million USD.
The 2021 initiative is expanding to introduce a new Science & Technology Pioneer Award, recognising three more women on top of the existing seven regional awards for 10 winners. Each of the eight laureates will receive a grant of USD 100, 000 while the second and third runner-ups will be awarded USD 30, 000.
All laureates and 16 finalists will also receive support on strategic financial thinking, one-on-one strategy mentoring, media visibility, and International networking opportunities. Finally, there will also be the opportunity to join an INSEAD executive education programme on scaling social impact.
