Earlier this month, Louis Vuitton celebrated the opening event of the Time Capsule exhibition to Kuala Lumpur, the final pit stop of this eye-opening travelling exhibition which highlights the significant milestones of the maison’s history over the past 163 years. Neelofa, Scha Alyahya, Awal Ashaari, Marion Caunter and Joe Flizzow were among the distinguished guests in attendance during the opening ceremony.
Set against the backdrop of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, this once-in-a-lifetime experience which takes place at the Esplanade in KLCC park is divided into various sections, allowing visitors to travel through time from the maison’s beginnings to the present day. Not to be missed is the ‘Artisans room’ where French leather artisans will demonstrate their impeccable leatherwork skills; and the mesmerising ‘Magic Malle’ installation which presents the Louis Vuitton trunk with an updated, technical twist.
The ‘Time Capsule’ exhibition is open to the public until 31 July, from 10am–10:45pm daily. Admission is free (last entries capped at 10:30pm).
