GOING GREEN

Leonardo DiCaprio once again proved his heavyweight Hollywood credentials by using his star power to promote his campaign to save the Earth. Held in Saint Tropez, the second annual Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation gala raised an extraordinary US$40 million, with all proceeds going towards supporting the foundation’s environmental protection, advocacy and conservation programmes. Auction prizes included rare luxury items, fine art, exclusive experiences, items from DiCaprio’s personal collection and a private concert by Elton John. Giorgio Armani served as the event chair, while stars such as DiCaprio, John Legend and Orlando Bloom wore his designs.
