“When I first started acting, I was very new and shy and I was very lucky to be given a chance to learn on the job. I was given a lot of sweet girl roles. After a few years I was offered the role of Rachel in The Pupil for Channel 5, Mediacorp. It was a start of the love of these interesting roles. As Rachel, I was neither a good girl, nor a bad girl,” she explains. “I am a real person and sometimes I can be good and sometimes I have my dark side. It was a far more interesting and fun role to play and I started craving for these roles. Now I look for roles that I have never done before. I am still very shy but I enjoy the transformation process and there is still so much more to learn.”
