Chefs and food experts answer: Should Malaysians dine out amidst Covid-19?
Launched in 2014, Zafigo.com was founded by Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir to help women travel better, easier, safer and to discover more about Asia and the Middle East, where the cultural differences and challenges faced by women travellers are the most diverse and significant. This year, the website has extended its mission by introducing ZafigoX, the first event in Asia dedicated to women empowerment and travel.
ZafigoX is organised in conjunction with the George Town Festival 2017 and set to host over 300 women participants of all ages and walks of life. From August 29 to 31 in Penang, the three-day occasion will be filled with inspiring talks and panel discussions by international and Malaysian speakers; workshops on life and travel skills; an open-to-public bazaar showcasing women artisans and services for the woman traveller. Envisaged to grow into an annual event that will take place in multiple locations across Asia, ZafigoX hopes to impart a wealth of personal insights, useful travel skills and fun throughout.
*Human rights activist Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir was awarded the Prestige Achievement Award for 2016 supported by Bulgari during Prestige KL Ball 2016.
