If you’re looking for the most enjoyable, driver-focused sports sedan, the all- new BMW 3 Series is the answer. With more power, efficiency and style – the all-new BMW 3 Series is set to add another entry to the inspiring story of the ultimate sports sedan as the heartbeat of the BMW brand. With the seventh-generation model’s renewed focus on driving dynamics, the all-new BMW 3 Series takes the signature characteristics of a BMW to another level with a new dynamic design, superior driving dynamics as well as technology and innovation.
Now, the BMW 330i M Sport is powered by a formidable 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo petrol engine, the most powerful of its kind yet to be fitted in a BMW model. The engine is paired to the ubiquitous 8-speed Steptronic Sport Transmission, and it does the zero to 100 km/h sprint in merely 5.8 seconds. The 8-speed auto is undoubtedly smooth, with the wheel-mounted shift paddles on hand for rapid ‘manual’ changes.
This being the M Sport variant, it gets the customary M Sport suspension with lift-related dampers. The system adds additional hydraulic damping at the front axle and a compression limiting system at the rear, all of which result in a better balance between comfort and sporty handling.
Changes to the exterior design from its predecessor are evolutionary, but the aerodynamic efficiency is beyond outstanding. The signature kidney grille has grown and is delivered as a single piece, with active shutters incorporated to manage cooling air flow through to the engine. It extends to the twin headlights that are fully LED-equipped and boasts a Bi-LED technology. The interior has been redesigned with revised controls and new materials, including a slick and prestigious ‘Aluminium Tetragon’ trim finisher on the console and dash in the M Sport.
The all-new BMW 3 Series is already leaving an impression everywhere it goes, including conventions and expectations. Once again, the renowned brand displays how to reinvent itself. For the BMW 3 Series, the seventh generation boldly re-evaluate familiar design topics, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the BMW design language.
